Female:

Hella Jelly Phenotype •A, selected from Humboldt Seed Company’s feminized offering. Smells like grape jelly, strawberries, blue cotton candy. Flowering time 45 days.

Male:

SuBoo👍🏼Lime! Black Lime Reserve f3 male selected by Bhang!Dog and crossed onto Super Boof, bred by Blockhead and cultivated by Mobilejay. Earthy, doughy, orangey citrus. Flowering time 8 weeks.

Flowering:

45 to 56 days.

Seeds:

13 regular photoperiod seeds, averaging 12.95 grams weight per 1,000.

Testing:

Germination test. Grew to Flower. Grew to Harvest.

Development: Planted on Friday the 13^th in Bardstown Kentucky, no Triskaidekaphobia here; nor Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia, attempting to bring structure and strength to a great cultivar while maintaining the 45-day target for ripening.

“Black Lime Reserve F3. F2: I bought original F1’s from Aficionado Estates (where Mean Gene from Mendocino was the head breeder) back in 2014 when it won 2nd place at Emerald cup.

I selected the 2 best of 3 males and hit them to the best 3 females I found. My selections ended up being more towards the Black Lime side which it much more broad-leafed than a lot of other BLR selections I’ve seen which is more CDSR leaning. F3: Open pollination of 100 seed hunt. I selected 17 females and 6 males from F2. All plants were selected from a 100 seed F2 hunt. Of the 100 seeds 98 popped. I selected out the variegated traits of the Chemdog that was showing up in the line, causing mutants. As they grew in vegetative mode, I keep culling out the undesirable phenotypes. Then in flowering I was able to select through the best of the best! I kept a good diversity in the line and you can expect Sour Limey Pine in the plants grown. They yield pretty well overall, some a little better than others.”
